Crookedhook
Written by Daniel Stad

Crookedhook is a 4 piece punk/ska/rock band from Toronto. They formed in December of 2005 and since have played many shows, recorded their first demo "Rock or Walk", released two compilation cd's, and have been featured on 4 different radio stations. The had their single "Death of a Small Town" played on Toronto's 102.1 the egde twice this year, and are getting ready to shoot the video for the song "Love Tunnel". This band plays fast punk beats, with ska elements. Often singing about day to day problems and joys in society, this band casually throws in witty yet logical lyrics. They have strong melodic vocals supported by a very talented band, with sounds ranging from NOFX to Sean Paul.
Crookedhook has had the honor of sharing the stage with many of Toronto's finest Punk, Ska, Rock, Emo, Hardcore, Metal, and Folk bands. They have decided not to limit themselves to playing with one or two genre's of music. They have met many great people in the last few years and are looking forward to the future in this band. Crookedhook will be heading towards Perth and Ottawa this Summer and are also going to be gearing up for their full length CD which will be released in October. Crookedhook will be coming to a town near you soon this Summer.
