5 Minute Wait

HOW THE BAND NAME FORMED:

The band decided on the name 5 Minute Wait because it is a common phrase with every person. We all have moments in our lives where we find ourselves waiting, whether in a line up at a grocery store or at a gig to hear your favorite rock group.

We wanted to connect this with the fact that the doomsday clock was turned to 11:55; signifying that we, as a race, are surging closer to annihilation. This reminds us that if we find ourselves waiting too often without fulfillment, we should use our time and start living life how it needs to be lived.

Our name was formed with the consideration that we only have a "5 Minute Wait" till the end of the world.
