Shandel Lee

Recently we had the chance to question Shandel Lee, a beautiful model whose heritage goes back to Germany. She grew up in the small town of Courtice which is just east of Toronto, with her many good friends and her great family.

Growing up Shandel was always tall and slim and was repeatedly asked if she was a model and told she should get into it, so she started doing promotions and events, and because she was really having fun, she stuck to it and began to find more and more opportunities within the industry.

The first thing you would likely notice about Shandel is her eyes, she has such beautiful blue eyes and it seems everyone notices and comments on them. There are things she doesn’t like about herself though, one of which is her feet, she says “They are big and I hate them.” What a coincidence because I have big feet too, so I’m not the only one lol.

I asked her how she takes care of herself and her response was “I never really watch my weight; I naturally have a fast metabolism and can eat anything I like. I do keep an eye on my measurements though. They are important to me.” Wow, she doesn’t have to worry about her eating habits. How lucky. So what about her hair, does she prefer blonde or brunette? She prefers brunettes because she thinks they are more exotic looking and are known for being smart.

Other then modeling, she is currently enrolled in college to become a dental hygienist and in 5 years she hopes to have moved somewhere with palm trees practicing her dental, doing some modeling and getting married.

Another interesting fact which a lot of us deal with is shyness; Shandel told us its one of the biggest challenges that she’s had to face. She had to push herself every time there was an event. She also said “I am at times very impatient with people who are close to me if they are slow. I always have a lot on my mind and a ton to do, so if people answer questions slowly or take their time walking, getting ready, completing a task, I am sometimes snappy, which isn’t fair to them. I need to really work on that” But at the same time it shows she is a responsible person and that’s a great factor.

Shandel enjoys traveling, spontaneous activities such as white water rafting, hanging out with her little one and family, and of course going out with her girlfriends.
