It’s funny how most models who have been featured on our site usually complain about how short they are and how they wish to be taller, but for Felicia Dawn this is not the case. Growing up she always felt a bit insecure about being talker than everyone else, even the boys! She always felt like she stood out, and it always made her feel uncomfortable. Eventually through her high school years she started to blend in and she realized that it didn’t matter if she was different from others, and she could finally live her life without worrying about what others felt about her. 

With school behind her, Felicia started to focus on what she has always dreamed to do, and that was modeling. She said, “I have always wanted to pursue something in this industry, but never knew how to get involved. I took a course through a modeling agency, paid about $800.00, and walked out and said “now what?” I definitely learned a lot of useful information, but nothing I couldn’t have learned through my days of working with Girls of Glam. Working with Girls of Glam made me realize how much I love this type of work. I use to have the stereotype “Models are stuck up”, and I was definitely wrong. The girls I work with make the days so much more eventful and fun.”

Felicia shares a lot of the same characteristics as many models but she is highly motivated by competition. The prettier the girls are, the more it makes her want to be successful, but at the same time stay friendly and brutally honest person.

She currently works at 3 different restaurants/bars and is also going to school full-time. “Yes I think that is a little crazy because I am also working for Girls of Glam as well. I usually come back from school at 4/5 and then start my serving shift at 5pm or 6pm. Some jobs I work more shifts at than others. I enjoy staying busy and working hard.” She said.

Felicia also loves to play lots of sports such as volleyball, football and swimming. She also likes to party and hang out with her brother and if she ever gets a chance to watch television, her favorites show is family guy because of its unique taste of humor.
