Kate Hoekstra

Kate Hoekstra is Dutch, but she was born and raised in from Flamborough, Ontario. She grew up with all sisters, but with her two older sisters being mentally handicapped, she grew up with strong family obligations as well as a lot of patience.

When she was very young she never stopped dreaming about modeling and dressing up, and now she’s been modeling for the last 4 years.  With the experience of many different types of styles, Kate finds her love in editorial modeling and says, “The pictures always end up being fantastic masterpieces of a collaboration of artists.”

She says her eyes are her best feature, and her main focal point that makes her different from others is to be responsible toward the people who she works with and always be on time, and of course she expects the same courtesy from others.

Kate loves to swim to stay in shape and says, “I think staying in shape and looking good is more important than the actual numbers on the scale...after all, muscle weighs more than fat!” She continued to add that she has a major sweet tooth and she tends to indulge more than she should.

One of the things Kate wishes to change about herself, is she wishes to be a bit more daring because in the past she has lost some great opportunities just by hesitating and playing it safe! On the other hand, playing safe has made her into more of a caring person. She always try to be considerate of other people as much as possible!

In the near future Kate has her eyes focused on running her own medical spa!
