Shani Hollywood

It wasn’t until recently that Shani took her love for modeling and decide to channel it towards a successful career. Modeling was a natural career choice for Shani, even from the age of three, she would carry around a small purse filled with fake make-up, and always making sure she looked her best!

Shani’s parents were born in Israel and most of her family remains there, but she was born & raised here in Richmond Hill. Growing up, Shani was always active, being involved in dance, gymnastics & sports. However, the one thing that stands out most for her growing up is her mother, explaining; “One factor that made my childhood special is the fact that my mother raised three children on her own. I will always admire her determination & perseverance. I grew up being cared & nurtured for by my fantastic mother. I owe everything I have to her.”

So where does Shani get all her good genes and personality? She says, “My mom is a beautiful woman. She raised three daughters on her own & has always been here for me. She has a very exotic look & was asked to model during her teenage years.”

Shani's favorite feature about herself are her eyes, she loves to express her feelings and emotions through them. Still, her favorite style of modeling is lingerie & swimwear, enjoying the ability to radiate confidence and show off the female form...and with those eyes she definitely pulls it off great!
 
Marisa Miller and Molly Sims are two of Shani’s favorite models, they are both stunning individuals that exude feminity and confidence, and they are both inspiring to her. In the fashion world, her choice of designers to work with would have to be Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs & Ted Baker. Explaining, “They have classic, trendy & edgy pieces that I enjoy wearing day to day. As well, modeling for Victoria's Secret would be a dream of mine. I have been flipping through their catalogues for as long as I can remember.” She said.

In modeling, Shani is wild, outgoing and always has a smile on her face, and always strives to be herself. She also has no issues with working with other models, saying that they usually inspire her and push her to achieve her dreams. Dreams, what was Shani’s childhood dream? She says, “I have always dreamt of becoming a triple threat. Model, singer, actress :)”

Keeping fit is important to Shani, but she prefers to keep everything in moderation, and believes that a woman should embrace her curves. In fact, if Shani could do one positive thing, it would be to help make women realize that they are beautiful inside & out.

In the next 5 years, Shani sees herself having an established career within the fashion industry as well as some solid modeling work under her belt. She also would love to open a women’s clothing boutique, something that matches her personality, trendy & edgy. 

Even though Shani is working hard to establish herself in fashion and modeling, eventually she would love to get married and have a family. What kind of man interests her? “My perfect man would be someone that matched my personality- wild, fun, caring & honest. Someone I can be my complete self around & cherish our moments together.” She says.

Shani’s hobbies include; fashion, traveling, photography, working out, reading and dancing, and says “If you ever peaked in my room you'd probably see me blasting a vintage BSB CD and dancing my heart out!”
