Since the age of 5, Aimee has had a love for modeling. She and her friends would dress up in her moms clothing and put on fashion shows for her parents. So it’s not very surprising to hear that her childhood dream was to be a model.

Aimee grew up in Mississauga and has a unique mix of Native, British and African in her. She has 3 sisters and a brother, who are all 20+ years older, so growing she enjoyed being the spoiled baby of the family.

At the age of 14, Aimee had her first professional shoot and since then she’s been going strong with her modeling career. Aimee also does not focus on any particular modeling style, saying that she likes every type of modeling because with every style she is able to show a different personality.

Model Heidi Klum is a personal favorite of Aimee, saying “After 4 children she still looks amazing and she is still working at her modeling career just the same as she was before.” However, she also likes Tyra Banks because of her confidence and the way she portrays herself. “Tyra builds a confidence level in women with all body types by offering encouraging words and leading by example.” She said.

One of Aimee’s favorite body parts are the eyes, saying that “You can tell so much about a persons thoughts or feelings just by looking into their eyes.” As a model however, she realizes that it’s more then just the eyes and that your weight and health are very important. She works hard to stay in shape by working out a few times throughout the week, and makes every effort to eat right.

When we asked Aimee what her thoughts are on fame, she said, “I think fame is not for everyone. To me, fame seems to be many things like - fun, exhausting, rewarding, emotional, educational, plus much more! I would definitely like to experience the roller coaster of fame!”

If Aimee could do one positive thing in this world, she would teach others to be positive with the hope that it would be passed on to everyone else in the world. She says, “If everyone had the same optimistic outlook on life then I'm sure we'd all be much happier and the world would be a better place.”

In her spare time, Aimee likes to watch movies, go swimming and most importantly spend time with her family. In the next five years Aimee hopes to further her modeling career and travel more often.
