Whitney Froese

It was at the age of 18, that Whitney had her beginning in Modeling, with the help of Joe McGuire, a talented and artistic photographer. It took her a long time to get used to being in front of the camera, but once she stopped being timid, she found a whole new side to herself. She found a way to express her passions through modeling and was able to improve herself with every shoot.

Whitney grew up in Wheatley and Aylmer Ontario, but her parents came from Chihuahua, Mexico and made their way to Ontario when they were teenagers. Family is the most important aspect of Whitney’s life. Having been home schooled, Whitney’s closest friends were her siblings Vanessa, Amelia and Nathan and over the years they developed an unbreakable bond. Even though they have moved apart and went on different paths they try and see each other every chance they get. Whitney’s best friend however, is her mother; always there and always bringing her encouraging words. She’s also a great workout partner and they often workout together.

Even though Whitney does not wish to be super famous, she would love to model for magazines or commercials on TV. She says “the glamorous lifestyle of being famous would not suit my personality.” Whitney is all about the art of modeling, she loves doing bold and artistic photo shoots because she likes to view photos as art.

When it comes to famous models and fashion, Whitney would have to pick Miranda Kerr as her favorite model and Victoria Secret as her favorite lingerie line. She says her dream career would have to be a Victoria Secret Model, because she simply loves the advertisements and the models.

When we asked Whitney what her favorite body part was, she said “My favorite body parts are the collarbone, the jaw line and the arc of the back. I love these parts of the body, because in modeling they are all important to create strong lines. A sharp jaw line can make a picture powerful and bold. The angel on the collar bone can be used to direct to the focal point of the photo. The arc of the back can be sensual and beautiful; it is a very feminine feature.”

Currently, Whitney is in her first year of Veterinarian Technician School at the University of Guelph, she has always been passionate about animals she knows working with them will be a rewarding experience. Over the next 5 years she is planning on working as a veterinarian technician and says “I have always loved animals, so it is my goal to help unhealthy and injured animals recover.”

Whitney’s childhood dream was to become a show jumper. She has always loved horses and loved jumping in riding lessons, and even though she still loves those things, she decided not to follow that career path.

For fun Whitney says “I horseback ride whenever I get the chance. I love long walks at night. I like spending time with my friends on the beach or at the mall. I sing and dance when I have nothing to do. I also enjoy watching musical theatre.”
