Ashley Marie

Recently we were lucky to get to know a very cool photographer who I am currently working on an article about, it will be up really soon so that everyone can enjoy his personality, sense of hummer and his works. He introduced us this gorgeous model; Ashley Marie …which as soon as I saw her picture, I was totally stunned by her beauty!

Ashley grew up in the city of Stoney Creek Ontario and she’s the first generation of true Canadians in her family. Her father is Croatian and her mother is Scottish. Oh man, I have some Croatian friends, not only are they so kind with a great culture, but they are hot as hell! I’m not totally sure, but they must have some great weather and amazing food in Croatia otherwise they wouldn’t look so incredible. Sorry, that was so random but I had to get it out of my system since Ashley’s father is Croatian, lol. Maybe that’s the half of the reason that she is so hot, so there!

She grew up in such a loving home with great parents and siblings, and I think that explains a lot about her sweet personality. She is very content and kind, Ashley said “I have and continue to have very special childhood memories. I come from an amazing family, we are very close. My mother is a stay at home Mom and my father is a Canadian Autoworker (Ford). We were raised in a small city with traditional family values, and also celebrate our European heritage as well as our Canadian traditions. We have always travelled and I have wonderful memories of all the beautiful cultures, places and people that I have seen. Every year since I was two we have always had our serenity family vacation that being Florida. We simply spend time together on the beach, talking, laughing and connecting with each other, we have so much fun!! I am very fortunate and grateful to have my family and so many amazing happy memories” (smiling)

Ashley has always being a girly girl and someone who loves fashion, make-up, hair, playing dress up and we’re pretty sure that’s the main reason she got into modeling in the first place. For the same reason, she loves all type of modeling, from glamour to runway and everything in between, she likes to keep her options open :)

She said to us about her modeling “I have just started this incredible exciting chapter of my life, since January of this year. August/September however have changed my life dramatically by being reunited with world famous photographer Paul Buceta at a model/photographer meet and greet party I attended at his studio (thank you J & mum). Since that evening I have had the opportunity of working with some of the most amazing top photographers in this industry.”

I think her secret to reaching and growing quickly is her personality and positive attitude. She is not trying to compete with anyone or anything, she is simply enjoying herself and modeling and that is the key. One of the models who inspire Ashley though, is the Canadian model, Sarah Scotford because she thinks Sarah is the essence of elegance, beauty and brains.

I asked her what’s her advantage and she says its in her unique look and having to work so hard to be in the position that she is in anow. Ashley knows how to appreciate all the small things in life and believe that with hard work and determination all things are possible.

She learned how to appreciate all of the small things because she underestood the value of life when a few years ago she was diagnosed with the early stages of cancer. However she is healthy now but  her messsage to everyone is: “Education and information is a key to a full and healthy recovery…” Which I found is so true and how sad we see some woman and even some men, battle with health issues just for not knowing or forgetting.

Awareness is always nesseccery and happiness comes alone with it.

Ashley is very active, she is enjoying life and crusing through different opportunities, whatever life offers, she takes.What a freedom! Having said that, besides modeling she is currently an Early Childhood Educator (EA) and planing to get her bachelor degree in teaching. She also has a lot of hobbies, “I have lots of hobbies, I love to read, bake, dance, attend sporting events (football & hockey games) concerts, travel, amusement parks and so much more.”  At the end she also added “Last but certainly not least I want to say thank you to my photographer, Daniel Fotografie for his talented hard work and taking the most amazing pictures!!! Thank You”
